    Stripe and PayPal will charge (~SGD$0.50 + 3.4% onwards) for credit card processing.


    8 Connect Consulting does not collect any fees in addtion to this. FirstTouch cost a flat SGD$50/mth and nothing else.


    Other popular solutions in the market will charge an additional 0.4% onwards in addition to monthly subscription fees.

  • What Currency can I collect in?

    Stripe and Paypal provide payment processing in 135+ currencies.


    They will charge for currency conversions. However this will be charged to the user with little impact for you.

  • Can I use this for an event or roadshow?

    Yes you can. FirstTouch subscriptions are charged on a monthly basis at SGD$50/mth. There are no additional fees.

  • Don't have a Paypal or Stripe Account

    If you do not have a Paypal or Stripe account. You can set one up in a few minutes.


    If you are doing an event based collection and do not wish to get a separate Paypal or Stripe account, we can arrange one for you. However we will include a service charge on this.

  • Do I need additional/specialised hardware?

    No you do not. You will not even be required to download an App.


    FirstTouch works on any device with a browser and is completely responsive in design. You can choose to save the site on the home screen of your mobile phone or tablet for convenience.

  • Will this work for Retail and eCommerce?

    You can use FirstTouch for retail and eCommerce. However we have an even more complete eCommerce solution with FirstCommerce.

  • What is a merchant account?

    You do not need one to collevct Payments by FirstTouch.


     This is usually costly to apply for and maintain.


    A merchant account is a type of bank account that allows businesses to accept payments by debit or credit cards. So a merchant account is an agreement between a retailer, a merchant bank and payment processor for the settlement of credit card and/or debit card transactions.


    FirstSite works with Stripe and Paypal to provide your credit card processing gateway.
